WCI Vessels and Tanks are used in multiple applications, requiring a strong, corrosion resistant environment. The fiber glass storage tanks are widely used in many industries and manufacturers because of their ability to handle corrosive chemicals. For instance, waste water treatment facilities use fiberglass storage tanks and piping because they safely contain and transport harsh chemical such as hypochlorite, alum and ferric chloride. In addition, fiberglass corrosion resistant stacks are used to ventilate waste water treatment facilities. These are designed to meet global pollution control norms. They are also manufactured in material conductive to the service conditions, within the wide range of thermoset and thermoplastic lining materials. Application of fiberglass tanks and equipment include the storage of such diverse items as bleach, food, chemicals and brine, as well as the collection of refinery spills.
WCI Process Equipment and Pollution Control Equipment (Scrubbers, Absorbers, Towers, Separators, Chimney, Blowers or Fans, Dampers, Stacks, Ducts) are seamless molded structures of FRP with various grades of resins (Polyester, Vinyl ester, Epoxies, Furanes, Phenolics, with or without thermoplastic liners (PP, PP-H, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, ECTFE, FEP and PFA. Manufactured by contact molding and filament winding in compliance with international standards like BS 4994, BS EN13121, ASME RTP-1, ASME Section-X, ASTM D (3299, 4097, 3517, 3982, 4167, 2634, 3982).
WCI fiber glass tank can be designed and manufactured in accordance with BS, ASTM & ASME standards, AD 2000-Merkblatt as well as other customer required standards.
WCI Pipe Fittings consist of a wide range of classifications like Elbows, Tees, Flanges, Couplers, Puddles, Wyes etc. which are designed for pressure rating ranging from gravity (3bar) to 32 bars depending on diameters which are available from 25mm to 2000mm. Large diameters can be produced to Diameter 4500mm to suit project requirement. We undertake complete piping for plants like Power & Desalination, Fire water, Water and waste Water Treatment, Chemical Plants, District cooling etc.
WCI is one of the experts in design and manufacture of FRP Ducting Systems and associated equipment. WCI produces a complete range of ducting, bends, tees, flanges, reducers, dampers, and other accessories fabricated in corrosion resistant GRP.
WCI designs duct systems for specific projects with consideration of pressure, span and external load requirements. A range of resin systems and manufacturing processes are used to optimize the duct system for the application, from mild waste air duct work to aggressive chemical duct handling caustic or sulphuric acid systems and elevated temperature services.
The above ground fiber glass tanks may be ordered in single wall or double wall models, for a full range of seismic conditions, insulated or not, in diameter up to 4.5m. When an above ground tank is ordered with saddles, legs or a skirt, these support components are also manufactured of fiber glass.
Fiber glass underground tanks can be used to store fuels such as gasoline, aviation fuel, gasohol, jet fuel, diesel fuel as well as potable water and waste water at ambient underground temperature.
